Have you ever read that book "Rivers Edge"? It had some fascinating behind-the-scenes looks at Bell's relationship with River, and how Bell might have been a bit too overbearing in running his band, and how desperately he wanted the Rentals to succeed. He was almost as bad as Rivers!

That said, I insanely love both bands ... haha
