ARRRRGH! How is it that Seattle has the Xanadu Sing-A-Long and Portland doesn't????? How unfair! (Portland's Gay & Lesbian Film Fest runs today through Oct 26)
One of the movies showing in both fests is NINA'S HEAVENLY DELIGHTS which may not win any artistic awards but it really does hit all the good things in UK cinema (sexuality, race, campiness, those beautiful accents (in this case, Scottish)) A fun movie.
I've only seen it on a 4x4 airline screen five inches from my face, so I'm actually looking forward to seeing it on a big screen, and at a distance....
