"I just can’t help shake the feeling that the Arctic Monkeys treat rock stardom as a job. They put on a (wait for it... good, solid show – so no one should feel cheated."

Couldn't have expressed it better myself. My sister and I arrived just before Voxtrot played then proceeded to suffer through the gay boys screaming "I love you!" and the Arctic Monkey fans screaming "Get off the stage!" The lead singer of Voxtrot, Ramesh Srivastava, performed like a male cheerleader, pumping his arm out and up; he also had a glaring stage-hog habit of playing multiple instruments and excelling at none - at one point kicking the keyboardist off to the side for an entire song - which combined with the white bread sound lead us to dismiss them as just another pretty-faced boy band.

As for the Arctic Monkeys, they performed on par with expectations. But most people I knew at the show left before it was finished; like Voxtrot, the sameness of the songs left me feeling like I'd heard the entire concert in the first 5 songs and the rest of the performance was just a loop track.
