As a music snob who knows better than to force people to listen to the music I make (it's shite) - I gotta say it's stupid to ever make the statement "earn how to play an instrument" as an argument that someone's critique of a band is incorrect ----- especially when he wasn't even demeaning to the skill of the band.
I think Mr. Gz was fair an complete in the review. And since when does a live album deserve a high ranking and heaps of praise. It's a greatest hits album for stoners released to please the industry (yes, Aliens are pretty much on a MAJOR LABEL). Live albums should be limited to stelth bootlegs traded amongst OCD fans.
In all fairness to Aliens, who wouldn't want to be the Happy Mondays in their heyday?
