Completely disagree. Probably the best disc ive heard in years (and the first ive bought in almost a decade). I don't know if the reviewer (Erik Gonzalez) wanted to keep the band to himself, or if he just has bad taste. Either way, learn how to play an instrument! This album does not have a single track that isn't beautifully composed or meticulously layered. If you want to listen to the Beta Band, put down your keyboard, build a time machine, and save us from your rants. Its probably beings like you who disbanded the Beta's by writing poor reviews comparing everything to the 3 EPs. Well keep eating your words, but save your moans for some teenybopper mag. I've yet to meet a musician/ aficionado who isn't taken back by this work. As for TIG, I hope this individual isn't on a payroll.
