Seeing as you came to a sing-a-long at my house, I think you know how I feel. But I agree, it is brilliant. Even Tom Lehrer, the deeply cynical '50s musical satirist liked the musical episode of Buffy (with no context of having watched the show, even). Yes, my friends are so nerdy that they in fact invited Tom Lehrer (who teaches/taught at UC Santa Cruz) to their house to watch it.
