Can someone please explain to me what math rock is/was all about? I seem to remember a handful of bands lumped into this genre a while back but what defines math rock? I envision a band sitting around a physics lab carefully crafting songs based on the Pythagoran Theorem, but somehow I don't think that's accurate.
