It was my first Long Winters...show?...performance and it was great. Love them. LOVE. them. The Smoosh girls & friends were dancing up a frenzy in front, it was cute.
Yeah, a bunch of people were getting all smart-ass-y because it was a promotion for Urban Outfitters and Yaris, but it was a fundraiser for KEXP (which I qualify as a much more than worthy cause) which is fantastic. Actually, a business friend of my mom's put this whole nation-wide thing together, and the fact that they managed to get a great line up of bands and radio stations to support is really awesome. Yay for independent radio! Even at the sake for some product placement here and there.
Juuust cos you were wondering, they played on the north side of the building, the wall facing the QFC. Like...if you were facing them, the cash registers would be behind you...yeah!
