Yes, I'd agree the Dresden Dolls are probably the next-best-known winners. Also notice the Lemonheads and the Blake Babies both once competed. And many of these bands are legendary on a local level. Likewise, tons of very imaginary bands have not competed, either by choice or just by having never been invited.
