I'm with you Toby... Sondre is going to bring the house down at the Crocodile tonight. It is a show not to be missed.
Not to harp on the whole SXSW thing, but at his SXSW performances, my friends with excellent taste kept going on about how AMAZING Sondre and his band were. (I had to miss him because of my devotion to seeing Matt & Kim and the Fratellis - I weep!)
When I have seen him perform in the past, it's clear that he's more than just singer-songwriter with band. The sound is full, lush, and intuitive. Not to mention he's stunningly charming with the stage banter. I'd say he's pulled a bit from Dean Martin in the suave department.
