Damon Gough is way to into himself. I remember I saw him shortly after he won the mercury prize for Hour of the Bewilderbeast, all he could talk about was winning the prize and all the money that came with it. He's a cult of his own personality. A good alternative tonight would be to check out Sondre Lerche at the Crocodile. His new record is a power pop tour de force. Hopefully he'll play more of that and stay away from his lounge record.
