Its Brit pop, indie rock or what ever you want to label it - You dont get many Jeff Buckleys to the dollar you know - why are you, and your not the lone critic here, obsessed with finding the next new sound, thing or whatever - as a critic you should know that 99.9% of it has all been done before. Ive seen the cinematics play many times and I firmly believe that they are a special band. Strange Education is their first dip in the pond, there is a lot better still in the locker. Have you seen them live??? If you havent, I suggest you do the next time they around your neck of the woods.
