To me, this represents the local music scene becoming even more insular and more clique-ish. The two radio shows in Seattle that feature ONLY local artists are hosted by just two people. And it just so happens that the same two people are the music editors for our only two weekly newspapers.
Nothing against Hannah Levine or Megan Seling, but this is NOT A GOOD THING for the local music scene.
