The lovely Sonic Boom Records will expand and open it's brand spankin' new doors on Melrose between Pike and Pine this fall. At just about 3000 sq ft, they hope to host MANY more instore performances and live shows of all kinds.
And while you're at the new Boom, saunter over to Velouria and snag hip threads and accessories to accompany your newest rare vinyl release purchase.

But Velouria is on Market Street in Ballard, right next door to one of the wonderful "old" Sonic Booms. Am I the only one who found this Seattle MM blurb a little confusing?

Long story short: Sonic Boom is moving from the 15th street location further down the hill to a bigger space, and a 2nd Velouria will open next door. Twin SB/Vel locations!!! I can't help but think that's adorable.
(Reportedly, Olymia Pizza will then expand into the old SB space on 15th).
