Okay, not only is the track list insane, but I'm a sucker for a sweet graphic:
How gorgeous is that? Seriously. And check this out, straight from Starbucks:

Not to be the knee-jerk anti-corporate jerk, but . . . this rubs me the wrong way. I guess yay for all those musicians getting some dough and getting their music out there in more latte-sipping ears, but - Starbucks? Yech.

Forget about Starbucks, the bands on this comp are weak.

This is a great compilation. I must be the only one who thinks it is, but whatever. Katy Perry is a downside, but it's made up for by DeVotchKa and She & Him.

I am in love with this cd. I work at Starbucks and have been listening to the broadcast version of it for the past week. I can't wait until we start selling it. Definately worth buying.

Don't worry, Katy Perry, no one thinks that you're blatantly grabbing for every bit of indie cred you can get. (Your secret is safe with me).

I'm a fan of the artists and I definitely love coffee. But I'm not impressed with starbuck's or their marketing gurus. Supporting a local coffee shop or record store is a way better plan.
