I'll take any chance I get to see "Awesome" in action and their recent show was a great example of why I love this band so much. They are funny and smart, as is their music, which ranged from soaring vocal harmonies to well-timed clicks from staple removers. They headlined a great night at Neumos with Carrie Akre, Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers and The Memphis Radio Kings.
