***Last night in Seattle***
If you've ever been to one of his shows, you know that Andrew Bird's live music is a completely different treat from his studio stuff. A rad lady sent in her recording from Bird's first song during his encore at the show last night and it's been streaming through my headphones all morning. ***The Internet is throwing shiny musical baubles into our laps: remixes up the wazoo!***
Kylie Minogue's "Come Into My World" has been remixed by Fischerspooner. The band's mixing skills compliment rather than overwhelm Minogue's sugar-sweet pop, leaving fans with a delightful take on an old favorite.

Vampire Weekend vs. Miike Snow on "The Kids Don't Stand a Chance" here: http://rcrdlbl.com/artists/Miike_Snow/track/Vampire_Weekend_VS_Miike_Snow_-_The_Kids_Dont_Stand_A_Chance
Miike Snow is a new band shaped out of Swedish production team Bloodshy & Avant then blended with Downtown Records producer Andrew Wyatt. The handful of songs they've released have a tendancy to slide through your eardrums like silk, you'll definitely be hearing more from them in the future.

I really really want the Andrew Bird track (it was awesome last night) but I can't figure out how to actually download it when I click on that link. Am I just being dumb and missing something?

"Why?" is always a treat. The solo song was a sweet reminder of what Andrew Bird shows used to be.. Not that Monday wasn't a beautiful experience, but very different from those solo shows of the past.
