I am a habitual multi-tasker. If I can do five things at once, I'm happy. If I can do one thing that accomplishes three goals, I'm over the moon.
Thanks to my friend Larisa who forwarded me the below email, I get to support one of my favorite charities, send a message to the Republican VP candidate and get the word out about the Presidential candidate of my choice.
Here's the email that's making the rounds... follow the below steps and make sure to send it to your friends/detractors:
Instead of sending around emails complaining about what a frightening and unqualified choice for VP Sara Palin is, let's all make a donation to Planned Parenthood in Governor Palin's name. When you make a (100% tax-deductible) donation on line to PP in her name, they send her a card telling thanking her for the donation.
Here's the link to the Planned Parenthood website: https://secure.ga0.org/02/pp10000_inhonor
1. Choose the drop down for Donate--Honorary or Memorial Donations, not the regular "Donate Online"
2. Make the donation in honor of "Barack Obama for President" with acknowledgment to Gov Palin.
3. Have PP send the Barack Obama for President acknowledgment to:
Governor Palin
P.O. Box 110001
Juneau, AK 99811-0001It is the most satisfying tax-deductible money you can spend. You can also donate to the Obama campaign.
And while we're mentioning Palin, here's a link to an awesome article in The Stranger by beloved Michaelangelo Matos. In it he poetically theorizes that Katy Perry has paved the way for Sarah Palin. My fav line? "It takes a nation of Katy Perrys to hold us back."

I LOVE this and am absolutely going to do it.

I'm not picking on you, Liz, I swear, but . . .
This would be even more awesome if Barack Obama's name were spelled correctly.
Great idea!

Dude, get off my B(ar)ACK Levi!
Just kidding... it's all fixed.
As I said, I am a habitual multi-tasker - which means I do a lot - but it's never perfect.
Thanks!
