Parenthetical Girls get lovingly redone by Deerhoof; play Seattle

Just a quick note to glory in the beautiful reworking Deerhoof has done on the Parenthetical Girls' song "GUT Symmetries" from PG's new album Entanglements (freshly reviewed), built around PG leader Zac Pennington's gorgeous voice:

You can hear for yourself right here.

And to let everyone know that Pennington and his orchestra will be extending his tour dates into Seattle! Just a few days after my birthday! At one of my very favorite venues, The Vera Project! Life is so good right now it hurts.
