As an imaginary girl and a lifelong music fan, I think I've seen approximately 6,541 bands perform live (approximately). Of all these shows, the one that far and away stands out as my all-time favorite? Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the 5th Avenue Theater in 1998. Nothing could have prepared me for the sheer magnetism of the performance. It was astonishing, and has made me a life-long fan.
Why am I telling you this now?
>>>> Because Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are coming back to Seattle and pre-sale tickets go on sale today!!!!!! <<<<

In fact, the pre-sale just started about 20 minutes ago, and lasts till tomorrow, so GO GO GO GO GO get tickets! The password is: SHOWBOX
The all-ages show will be September 23 at the Showbox Sodo.

Yeah, that show in 1998 was brilliant. I was there too and that was the first time that I had seen the Bad Seeds live. He was in fine form in those days. The band was incredible too.
I am not sure about his moustache or his last few records, but I'll be at this show.

Everyone who was there raise their hand if they went to slam drinks during Low's opening set (because we couldn't drink in the theatre itself).
