"Rock and Soul" makes its return on the backs of legends Hall & Oates

Hall & Oates back in action!?!? Color me surprised.

After 35 years best left under the table, Hall & Oates have broken out of obscurity to perform at the Troubador in LA. They played to a sold-out crowd, and according to accounts of the night, they were a smashing success.

Such beauties as "Maneater," "Private Eyes," and "Rich Girl" stunned the crowd with their perfectly played perfection. In high spirits (or just plain high), Hall & Oates addressed the crowd warmly and even returned to the stage for two encores!

*Hall & Oates specialized in a fusion of rock and roll and rhythm and blues styles which they cleverly dubbed "rock and soul."

See a full account of the glorious night here and get a taste of their sweet, sweet comeback.....

Not to discount the radness of this (because I love me some H&O), but they played in Seattle late last summer at McCaw Hall too...
