I just wanted to say how hyped I am about this Memorial Day/Sasquatch weekend. I expect nothing less than the time of life to be had as I celebrate music, the outdoors and fun at the Gorge. Yes, I am going to celebrate fun. I turn 32 on Monday and yet I feel as young as ever, thanks in part to the kickass music scene and the awesome vibe that exists in Seattle. DCFC, The Flaming Lips and REM are just a few of many bands that I am fired up about seeing in a few days. How the stars aligned to make this all happen on my birthday, I do not know, but one thing I do know is for at least one weekend in May I will be one happy camper.
Expect a thorough review following the festival.

I just realized that my last blog had nothing to do with the Discs of Fury or the picture of the aforementioned show. Apparently some important battle took place there. It appears there may have been dangerous encounters with wizards or perhaps a little dragon-slaying. I'm not sure though, we would have to hear from someone who was actually in attendance.
