Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm still alive, apparently. I've just been, uh, busy or something. But now I actually have something fun to tell you kids about. So listen up.
It's called Cause for Drinks, hosted by social-action-brand-for-the-cool-kids All Day Buffet.
What is it, you ask? It’s a pretty simple idea. People in various cities across the country gather for happy hour at their local watering hole, and $2 from every drink goes to a selected charity.
Step 1: Show up at All Day Buffet's bimonthly happy hour.
Step 2: Buy a drink.
Step 3: Buy more drinks.
Step 4: Save the world.
So far, Cause for Drinks is in NYC, Seattle, Austin, New Orleans, and a few other cities across the country. Check out their website for more information about their next happy hour or bringing Cause for Drinks to your city.
If you're in the New York area, All Day Buffet is joining hands with Education Through Music to host a Battle of the Bands next Thursday, May 15th at Canal Room. Proceeds will benefit music education in inner-city schools. Details are on the website.

i'll try and drop in more again soon. i've been busy sitting around fab hq with my thumb lodged up my ass. oh and i've also spent the last week watching every single episode of lost, from pilot to last week's. so don't say i don't know how to apply myself when it's important.

Chris E., if you go to one of these events in Seattle, be sure to report back for those of us in a city that doesn't have one planned yet. (Ooh, I'm kind of tempted to volunteer to host one in Boston, as they call for on the site, but I'm already overly ambitious with the number of projects on my plate!)

It should be noted that doing good isn't a chore to Batman. It's a lifestyle.
That is all.
