Mmm... the taste of saving Vera

The Vera Project Bakesale

The deadline for Vera Project's big ultra-momentous fundraising effort is coming to a close (June 30th... really close) and it's great to see even the bakers amongst us lending a hand to the effort.

At tonight's Vera show (Friday), which is also acting as Little Party & the Bad Business' CD Release show, baked confectionaries will be available for purchase to benefit the all-important all-ages venue.

They've only got $7K left to raise before the deadline (which isn't much considering they've already raised $26K) to earn a $50K grant. You can read all about it on the First Giving website.

If you can't make it to the show or are sporting a gluten-free lifestyle, you can make a donation here.

Are they Cupcake Royale cupcakes?? Because on record store day I went over to the CR across from Sonic Boom and picked one up with profits directly going to VERA!

no they're by ME! also other baked goods by other vera friends such as emily, josh, stephanie, sirina, others too i think, but i have the cupcake realm to myself :)

Of course, now I'm going to have a craving for cupcakes all damn day. Small price to pay, I suppose.

I'm not sure I could survive off a gluten-free lifestyle...considering that's all I eat.
