I think in addition to paying homage to George, igDana is trying to increase the number of awesome Google searches that bring up TIG in the search results.

You are totally correct. I think Carlin would approve.

I first saw the new of Carlin's passing on Twitter last night. I ran downstairs to two of my roommates and broke the news to them. We were just silent for a few minutes.
I'm not normally the guy who gets broken up with a celebrity dies, but George Carlin was bigger than that. He was the dissenting voice of a generation, one of the very last of his breed. We laughed at his humor because it was often far too scary to deal with any other way. His voice, raised to continue the fight until his last moments, will be missed.
Was he only important to counter-culture and, much later, frat audiences? I don't know. I don't consider myself a hippie or a jock, but when Carlin spoke, I always found myself listening. Rest in peace.
