Remember a short while back when we blogged about Blue Giant, the new band which is basically Anita and Kevin Robinson of Viva Voce, performing as a full band? Remember how we gushed about their debut show, which will be June 20th at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR, with the Shaky Hands and Lackthereof also on the bill?

We just got a great tip from imaginary reader M. Canjon that OH MY EFFING GOD Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney will be joining Blue Giant onstage!!

This will be Ms. Tucker's first live performance since Sleater-Kinney disbanded back in 2006, and rumors are flying that this is the first of future collaborations she'll be making with Blue Giant.

This is very, very cool news. I predict many roadtrips, skyrocketing costs of fuel notwithstanding...
