Spin the Black Circle! (Grunge DJ set alert)
Submitted by imaginary stella on July 7, 2008.This just in! Nabil Ayers and John Roderick of the Long Winters will DJ an all-grunge, all-vinyl set this coming Wednesday night at Linda's (707 E. Pine on Capitol Hill), from 9pm -12 midnight.
They'll be spinning hits and misses from the late '80s and early 90's. And the best part? It's free (21+) and it's supposed to be nice outside -- so get there early to score a seat on the supreme patio.
I can't think of a more perfect way to celebrate the middle of the week, and anticipate the surely grunge-filled weekend at the upcoming Sub Pop 20.
