Lately I have been really enjoying Springfield, MO's Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. Their latest record, 2008's Pershing, reminds me a lot of The Shins and Elliott Smith. The band's website is unfortunately sparse, but you can hear the leadoff superhooky track "Glue Girls" on their MySpace page. The album isn't as consistently awesome as that song, but it still is a strong effort if you're looking for another mild but pleasant indie pop offering with some good lyrics and great melodies.

Yes, I love them too. But I think their studio recordings are a lot better than their live stuff. And this video is too adorable:
