Oh yeah. Bumbershoot lineup revealed too
Submitted by ChrisB on July 14, 2008.In all the hoopla surrounding SP20 this weekend (seriously, awesome coverage from Stella, Heather and Chona), it might have gotten missed that Bumbershoot unveiled their schedule Saturday morning.
Here are the artists added:

The full schedule is here.
I think the roster of local bands is especially good but with the rumors of Rage Against the Machine and Prince floating around, Death Cab as a headliner is kind of a letdown (at least to me).
What do you guys think? Who are you most excited to see?

That's really neat they're doing a The Round at Bumbershoot. Yay for The Round!

I'm about to join the ranks of other jaded hipsters in this city and finally say it. "Fuck Bumbershoot." I'm not going this year for the first time since I've lived here and I'm glad!

Superchunk! Superchunk! Superchunk!
(So excited, this might have actually woken me up from my mid-afternoon thai food for lunch crash that has caused me to get nothing done for the last half hour at work!)

Guess who's excited about Death Cab playing...;)
On another note, I'm really excited to see how CHBP and Bumbershoot have both really honed in on the Seattle scene really hard this time around!

Kinski and !!! are both playing at the same time as Beck?!
But I want to see all three!

I can't wait to see Sondre Lerche and Death Cab, even though they overlap some. I'll bring my running shoes.

I am particularly excited for the New Faces and the Blakes.

Sweet Water? As in early-90s local mainstays whose frontman wore a string of pearls?! Gasp!
Love the idea of the WSU faculty jazz troupe too - for real. That sounds like it'll be a nice complement to all the indie rock.
My heart is most set on Beck, who has never let me down the few times I've seen him, including that fateful B'shoot about a decade ago when folks tried to cram the stadium and pushed down the fence...scary! Oh, and of course the Old 97's.
Anyone else find it weird that T.I. opens for The Black Keys who open for a reunited STP? That's sure to draw a diverse crowd...
