Ever since last summer when they drove from North Carolina to Boston (read: a long way) just to play my birthday party, I've been in love with Charlotte, NC's The Sammies, and I'm delighted to see them on Pitchfork today with a download and a favorable blurb. Awww, good one, fellas!

Also, my boyfriends were kind enough to send me an advance copy of their new record Sandwich (OMG, I totally second the Pitchfork writer's query about who vetoed Samwich), and I'll tell you what, it's fabulous!
