Normally, when I make a trip down to Portland for a Friday night show (the unveiling of Iceage Cobra's new lineup at the Tonic Lounge, in the middle of an especially rockin' gathering of PDX's finest), I make a full weekend out of it. This time, I'll be rushing back to Seattle on the first available (or perhaps second... I'm prepared for a slight hangover after properly hazing IAC's new bass player) Saturday train specifically for this birthday party.

Josh and Abbey are two of the sweetest, most tireless supporters of local music, and I can't miss an opportunity to show my appreciation and affection for them both. Plus, it's been a loooooong time since I've seen their special guest and I'm looking forward to hearing some of their new songs...

D'oh! The special secret guests just revealed themselves in a MySpace bulletin... better get to the Blue Moon early before the place is packed, people!
