Seattle Powerpop Blog changes hands

Farewell to Seattle Powerpop Blog founder Gary Miller, who is moving back to the southern states. But fear not, fans of local catchy pop hooks -- we've just heard that the blog will continue on, in the hands of Andy Miracle.

Congrats to Andy, and best of luck to Gary with the big move!

Thanks, Dana. I hate to see Gary go but I’m happy that I get to carry on his amazing SPB.

By the way, I’m a big fan of Three Imaginary Girls. I’ve been reading your reviews and checking your calendar, etc. for 5 years now I think. Has Three Imaginary Girls really been going that long already or am I imagining things?

I want to second Dana's congratulations and well-wishes. I said before (and I mean it) that I will miss Gary more than I miss the Crocodile (and I miss that an awful lot), but I wish nothing but good things for Andy. I will, of course, remain a loyal SPB reader.

You know, I haven't checked, but I'd be willing to bet chapelhill-powerpop.blogspot.com isn't taken yet. I'm just sayin'.
