Five years today!

And this face:

What has made me most happy today is that the networking computer has been down for hours at work and now my manager is sending me home.

And the new British Sea Power album.

My list includes red wine, strong coffee, dark chocolate, the colors lime and orange together, roadtrips in the summer, fresh cookie smell, benefit shows (see you at Nectar tonight).

Finally, an imagi-blog post I'm not intimidated to respond to. I like making it to work without getting toothpaste on my clothes and my girlfriend's homestyle grits.

So much, where to start?!

My orange Spanish espresso machine, Chocolati truffles, making dinner in instead of fighting the masses on this holiday, discovering fantastic new records that just happen to be streaming in their entirety (myspace.com/grandarchives), my fabulous guy who always brings me purple tulips, my stripey orange feline coworker, and of course all the imaginaries!!!

My wife. Who, for some reason that still eludes me, has been in love with me for nine years and two days.

I'm all about the love today, too. Most Valentine's Days for me involved taking an empty bottle of vodka to the recycle bin the next morning but tonight I'll be at the Dancing on the Valentine show and seeing probably around 75% of the people in this world that I truly love and it's a birthday party for one of my most dearest friends. What's not to love?

Other things I love right now:

Having the absolute best friends in the entire world, the Triple Door, my manager at my day job (who gave me tomorrow off even though a miscommunication with my previous manager kept me on the schedule and giving me the day off would leave my coworkers very short staffed), Hillary Clinton winning New Mexico, Ms. Led's song "It Took Until April" (which has been the soundtrack to my week), getting compliments on a review even though it was in a genre I'm unqualified to be covering, have I mentioned that I have the best friends in the whole world?, and of course (like my friend Imaginary Stella), all the imaginaries out there.

Today I loved...

Playing chess with David and Ian and Marie in Pysch class, using different colored Hersey's kisses as checkers, and then eating them when they got jumped.

Walking home with one of my best friends and talking about how bright our futures are, then sitting at the docks and admiring the lake.

Watching the Office with said friend and cuddling in a warm, soft bed.

Listening to old Chuck Barry songs on the ride home.

Dana's babe's ADORABLE outfit! (and adorable self!)
