Tonight in Seattle:

Hats off to the Oasis dude

In case you've never crossed paths with my anti-Oasis rants, the Gallagher brothers bug the crap out of me for several reasons, but mostly because of Noel and Liam's outlandish self-aggrandizing behavior and their Blur bullying (although it's funny when Mogwai does it).

But, Noel G. has just won a free drink from me. He's such an elitest purist music snob that he's selling his summer home in Ibiza because, according to London's The Sun, he's uber annoyed that James Blunt (the "You're Beautiful" soft-rocker) lives up the street.

I'd totally sell my $11 million summer home if John Mayer lived nearby. Heck, I might even sell it if Noel Gallagher lived nearby.

(hat tip to Aversion.com!)

That is actually a perfect reason to move out. Damn those Oasis lads, making sense from time to time! (they still suck ass though)

That's rad

"Heck, I might even sell it if Noel Gallagher lived nearby."

Ladies and gentlemen, why I'm madly in love with igLiz.

Sad that a band that makes fairly decent music has to be helmed by such a couple of douche-nozzles. So full of themselves. Also they talk unmerited crap about Radiohead and that's just a big no-no.

More Noel Gallagher news: apparently, they weren't letting him into any Oscar parties this weekend. Apparently the line "don't you know who I used to be?" doesn't work with the Vanity Fair crowd.

Oh SNAP!

Re: the Oscar parties, at the end where it notes that Courtney Love got in while Gallagher was left outside in the cold, unfriendly world?

beautiful snub.

I'm still not sure if ole Noel just needed the cash. I doubt the back catalog isn't really bringing in enough to make payments on an $11 million mansion.

Yeah this is a good idea! I mean Blunt sounds like a creepy stalker, I'd be afraid of my privacy if I lived near him!

That is funny yet sad as hell.

Sad because James Blunt can even afford to live in such a neighborhood.

Note to self: become a huge douche, make douche bag music = set for life $$$$$$$$$$$ :(
