I  mentioned here before that The Triple Door is hosting twelve performances of "Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker" this holiday season. After having the chance to see it Tuesday night with the de-lovely Imaginary Viva and I wanted to report back that it is a fantastic time.

The routines were quite impressive - and much more elaborate than the prior burlesque shows I had been to (which consisted of several Wednesday nights at the old Mirabeau Room watching the Atomic Bombshells).

Plus, since it's so cold outside, I'd try to make the blog a little hotter by posting some of Viva's excellent photos.
