Tonight in Seattle:

New releases from Easy Street Records

Not a ton of new releases this week, but we've got a couple of goodies!

Flight of The Conchords' self-titled full-length release is out and it's soooo good! I love that great music can come from a comedy troup/band. Take note, Seattle's Black Daisy!

Atmosphere has a new record out with a great title/moto/mantra (if you will). When life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold.

El Perro Del Mar is the alter ego of Sarah Assbring. Her second album is an opus, chock full of non-traditional folk songs that explore the world at large. She is pretty and her music soooothing.

Here's the rest:

Amelia - A Long, Lovely List of Repairs

Apocolyptica - S/T

Ashlee Simpson - Bittersweet World

Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold

Blind Mellon - For My Friends

El Perro Del Mar - From The Valley To The Stars

Elbow - The Seldome Seen Kid

Flight of the Conchords - S/T

Gang Starr - No More Mr. Nice Guy

Tad Benoit - Night Train To Nashville

Tokyo Police Club - Elephant Shell

Hey, what about Billy Bragg? Isn't his new one out today?

Oh yeah, Mr. Love & Justice is his new one and it is indeed out today! Sorry Billy & Erik!

But hey, at least you got the Ashlee Simpson release in there... ;)

And we've got reviews of FOTC and EPDM coming very soon.

(Don't mind me, I'm heads down in my dayjob where ACRONYMS ARE KING (AAK) so I thought I'd try to mix things up here on the TIG site.)

For a moment there Dana, I thought you said we have a review for the new EPMD, which would be a whole different ballgame.
