You know that when you lose your Dennys that the all-night eats situation is pretty weak in Seattle. But there's a beacon of light for all you late night snack attackers out there. From the ashes of the old 24 diner Minnies (or at least, in the same physical space) comes Whym.
According to Lineout, the vacated spot has a sign in the window that reads as follows:
Be a part of the newest 24 hours diner in Seattle. We are hiring for all positions and all shifts.
Servers
Line cooks
Chef/Kitchen Manager
Dishwashers
Bartenders
Shift Supervisors
General ManagerSubmit a resume to whym@comcast.net.
Post-show grub! Cocktails!! I am optimistic.

Yes to Beth's Shrie.
I also noticed a new-ish 24hr Mexican place on the Ave recently.

On the Ave? Which one? I get cravings for burritos at 2am all the freakin' time.

I need no other 24 hour joint than Beth's. This is why Minnie's failed--along with their over-priced Belltown fare, they had no crayons.

Minnie's food was pretty weak...it is a good location however if the new place can scrap up the business. I agree that crayons and maybe disco lights every 10 minutes are in order.

The Hurricane Cafe is also 24 hours, and probably on a par with what Minnie's had to offer.
