Tonight in Seattle:

How to name a band

My discovery of the day: If you’re in a band that needs a name, the Wikipedia random article feature can be of great assistance. Here are some suggestions for today:

  • Gough-Calthorpe Family (decendents of English nobility)
  • Castelfondo (a commune in Itally)
  • Kondapuram (small town in India)
  • Boulton's Batis (species of bird)
  • Calculation (you know, like math)
  • Waheela (a wolf-like cryptid)

Waheela could be the best death metal band EVER! Feel free to adopt any of these names for your band. All I request is one free band t-shirt.

Funny cause I thought "Wikipedia Random Article Feature" would be the best band name...

Ooh I got:

Coercivity
80 Plus
Harlem Shake

Pretty neat!

The Harlem Shakes is already taken. I've seen them play at Neumos.

I just got a good one:

'Verb Object Subject'

I want to review Wikipedia Random Article Feature's first album.

Randy @ 3: No way really? That's neat, I wonder if they came up with it the same way I did...

You had better act fast, though. There aren't many names left.
