Sondre Lerche free ticket giveaway
Submitted by imaginary dana on November 6, 2007.Norwegian super talented cutie-pie Sondre Lerche will be returning to Seattle on Thursday, November 8th, for a special performance at Nectar (aside: have you noticed all the great shows at Nectar of late? Strong work, Colin-the-booker!).
Want to win a free pair of tickets? We have three sets of them! Simply email us here no later than tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov 7th) at noon to be entered to win.
In the meantime, let Sondre charm you with this video for "Two Way Monologues," and let's hope the Seattle crowd is a bit kinder than the one in this clip...

THANK YOU barry - I just fixed the link. And I agree -- the video is brilliant indeed.

So much is happening while I'm out of town!
I finally made it to see the movie Dan in Real Life, for which Sir Lerche provided an original score and original tunes. It's cute (sometimes too cute), but a scene near the end in which Sondre has a cameo appearance sharing the screen with Juliette Binoche was just too much to bear. Talk about two great things that taste great together!

Is it just me, or does Mr. Lerche visually remind you of a much more chipper alternative to Connor Oberst?
imaginary liz said on November 7, 2007:
Jared: Yes, and even more strange, I don't think I ever put the two together. This revelation explains a lot.

what a dilemma for thursday night, sondre at nector or emma pollock at the croc?
imaginary dana said on November 7, 2007:
@toby -- Ooh. That really is a tough call. Which one are you leaning toward?
toby said on November 7, 2007:
i think i'm leaning towards emma pollock, because i saw sondre earlier this year.

I saw her at SXSW, and I think you're in for a treat! Really, you can't go wrong either way...
