Awesome imaginary photographer Chona Kasinger strikes again, this time at this weekend's Minus the Bear show at the Showbox...

Full review coming soon, natch, but wanted to post a teaser photo to whet your imaginary appetities. Anyone make this show? With a threesome like Grand Archives, Helio Sequence, and Minus the Bear, there must be loads of amazing stories to share...

This was a great show. It was cool to see three fairly different sounding Seattle bands take over the Showbox for a night.

Yeah, excellent show; I think it was sold out? All three bands did a great job. I was particularly surprised by and really liked Helio Sequence, who I hadn't seen/heard before. That drummer is really skilled. I didn't know (until now) that he's the same guy who took over on drums for Modest Mouse when Green left in 2003, but I'm not surprised.
