Tonight in Seattle:

Photo of the moment: PWRFL Power, from the TIG-presents show last night

WOW - that's crazy cool!!!

I was there! PWRFL Power made me vomit in my mouth a little.

yay. thanks for putting up my shot dana =)

Kaz is a riot..I think he needs to lay off the "slopes" for awhile though

Fun show TIG! I had never heard Facts about Funerals. Really enjoyed them. Something about slide guitar gets me everytime

I was there too!

I was a little skeptical about the first band towards the beginning, they seemed to be having a bit of an identity crisis with the two songwriters, and while each had their own strange sort of charisma, the two styles didn't gel as well you'd like a two-man songwriting team to sound. But after I chilled out a bit and quit trying to analyze *who* they were, it was calming and enjoyable.

PWRFL Power was amazing, but the lyrical content kinda waxed and waned with relatability; the imagery was beautiful and simple, but associating foods with either love or a loss of love holds itself for about as long as a mixed cd of weird al's food-related parodies (although I'm admittedly a huge weird al fan).

But, by around 10:45 or so, PWRFL Power began, in song, trying to convince a girl that his life isn't easy just because he doesn't have a job. That reminded me that I *did* have a job, and worked in the morning, and had walked to the Croc from the Hill, so I sadly had to get to bed after his set. But I loved it, and can guarantee I'll be seeing more of him live.

Aw, PWRFL Power is too funny! I'm a bit disturbed that he would invoke someone to puke though...(ref comment #2).

Too bad I couldn't go, too much stuff to do.

Too bad I couldn't go, 23 months too young!

I didn't get to talk to anyone from TIG.
Thank you for having me!
