Just when you thought you'd mentally shut down till the weekend, here's something to send your mind and ears into pre-weekend ecstasy: a new track from the Magnetic Fields, brought to us all by the ever-fabulous Stereogum.

The track is called "Three-Way" and rather than explain or gush more about how freaking excited I am about the forthcoming Magnetic Fields record (Distortion, due out on January 15, 2008 on Nonesuch Records), just go listen.
