OK - my immediate reaction is to GASP!

But then I remembered that Jessica is just what he needs right now. A looker, not a challenge... and really, her type is what makes Owen... Owen. And he's got to do something/one while waiting for Kate to return.

I think what stuns me about Lance/Ashley is that Lance always seemed the grown-up, responsible, interested-in-personality-too type. Owen doesn't really even pretend to have such an M.O.
