Grammy nominees have been announced with igDana fave Amy Winehouse picking up nominations for best album, best song, best new artist and best record (essentially best single of the year.)

Also of interest is Feist gaining a nod for best new artist, as this is the "first recording which establishes the public identity of that artist". I guess being in Broken Social Scene and the other three solo records don't do near as much for your public persona as a catchy iPod commercial.
