Interesting new local indie-pop band: The Birthdays
Submitted by imaginary dana on October 14, 2007.Thanks to a heads up from imaginary calendar editor sera(tone)n, I just listening to a lovely new indie-pop band here in Seattle called The Birthdays. They have three demo tracks up on their MySpace page and a show coming up this Thursday at the High Dive...
The three tracks are melodic and sweet, a bedroom pop that's well-suited for a don't-leave-your-house sort of sunny Sunday like today. Liz and I were just discussing the lack of new lo-fi pop goodness of late in Seattle, so I was excited by the potential of this budding band. Fans of Math & Physics Club and the like should pay attention to see what this band has in store.
Have a listen, and let us know what you think!

Oh my God! Boys....We're on T.V.!!! Thanks very much Three Imaginary Girls. The show at High Dive went great, and we hope to bring a few more out to Comet Tavern on Thurs. Oct. 25th where we again will be playing alongside the fabulous Webelos. Your website is outstanding, by the by.
