Tonight in Seattle:

Molly Moons creates new flavor to support Vera Project

dogs love ice cream

I scream, you scream, we all scream for...Vera Project-themed ice cream?

Molly Moon, an ice cream shop synonymous with round the block lines (that move surprisingly fast), has created a new flavor of ice cream to benefit the Vera Project, an arts and music program run by and for Seattle youth. This weekend only, during the Capitol Hill Block Party, you can purchase a scoop of this socially conscious confection for $3 per scoop or $5 per pint. All proceeds benefit the Vera Project. "Vera-licious" is a chocolate base with blended with local raspberries, a perfectly cool accompamyment to the hot rocks on stage.

If you'll miss your change to taste the rock-n-roll richness this weekend, worry not. Half pints will be available at the Vera Project at future shows.

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is at 917 E Pine St, around the corner from the 10th Street entrance to the Capitol Hill Block Party.

This is so cool! I need to stop by there, I still can't believe I never got some Baracky Road
The salted caramel ... good Lord. Such wicked bliss. Like melt-in-your-mouth salty/sweet dairy-based painkillers.
Oh. hell. YES.
@ Chris Estey- The salted carmel with hot fudge on it is the greatest thing since David Bowie. It cuts the salt jusssssst enough.
