Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Ready, steady, win! We’ve got twenty-four hours and some tickets to give away for two sweet shows at the Tractor.

First up is the lovely, swoonworthy Mr. Gregory Alan Isakov, who you may have been fortunate enough to catch at the High Dive when he came through town over the winter. His poignant, thoughtful lyrics will shoot right through your heartstrings, all DeVotchKa-esque old radio-microphone style. He’ll be bringing the bliss to the Tractor on Sunday night, and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away for you and a pal! Just send an email to tig{at}threeimaginarygirls.com with the subject line GregoryAlanMakeMySunday by 3pm Friday (yes! that’s tomorrow!) and tell us why we should send you.

Second up, well — we practically don’t have to say anything more than the following:

Lou Barlow is playing the Tractor on Monday night.

and

We have two tickets to give away for the show. Dot com.

Come see Mr. Barlow in the most perfect of venues, in all his post-Sebadoh fantasticalness. (We’ll be crushing and holding on to our cameras in the front row right next you, don’t worry.) You can roll the dice on going for free to Monday’s show at the Tractor with your fave +1 by sending an email to tig{at}threeimaginarygirls.com before 3pm on Friday. Make sure to include the subject line DayKittyLovesLou, and give us some compelling stories! Are you the biggest Sebadoh superfan evar? Can’t leave the house without Emoh on your iPod? Tell us about it!

While you’re waiting to hear back, have a look-see at this performance Lou and the Missing Men did at KEXP last year:

Fingers crossed! Good luck, everybody. We’ll see you at the show!
